Sunshine Elite School: Writing Event

We were so excited when teacher Jennifer Rose of Sunshine Elite School all the way in Portland, OR, scheduled her students for a virtual learning tour with us! We challenged them to submit writing for possible publication on our website. Students could submit in any genre they chose, as long as they wrote about their experience with Tamerlaine, what they learned or felt, or about our interconnection with the Earth and its creatures.

We’re pleased to announce our first acceptances from third-graders Jonathan and Albert! For these students, Harold was the animal that helped them feel our interconnection, and to completely understand what we are doing here at Tamerlaine. Let’s give Jonathan and Albert the props they deserve! Congrats, kids! We’re so proud of your great writing, and wonderful hearts!
