One cow per acre of pasture! Did you know that every acre of pasture can only withstand 1000 pounds of grazing animals. Just one cow can weigh up to 2400 pounds. 🐄
Fencing, mowing, tilling, seeding, and irrigation is expensive. Even when we do it ourselves, (which we do!) Before we can rescue more grazing animals we have to expand our pastures. Here’s the good news…we have plenty of space and lots of room to grow! 🚜
